Italy and its
irresistible islands

In the North, sail along the coasts and discover the villages of the ‘Cinque Terre’:  Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. These five Ligurian villages, perched by the sea, must absolutely be viewed from the sea before you make a stopover. Hire your mono or multihull boat from La Spezia to easily explore this magnificent section of the Italian coast.

Further south, the Piombino base in Tuscany, is the starting point for reaching Cap Corse, located just under 50 nautical miles away, with, of course, a stopover with your boat on the unmissable Elba.

The Gulf of Naples: Procida, Ponza and the Amalfi Coast are prime destinations when visiting Italy by yacht.

Sicily:

Renting a yacht in Sicily and departing from Portorosa, Capo d’Orlando or Palermo, you can discover the fascinating Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, aboard your rental boat.

In Western Sicily, explore the Egadi Islands. Not as well known as the Aeolians, they are worth a detour. There are three Egadi: Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo.

The archipelago has only five thousand residents, the islands have wonderful reliefs, with magnificent coves and bays with turquoise waters, and beautiful hills. Marsala, a pleasant and peaceful town, is best known for its wines. It is a good starting point for Malta, just 120 miles away.

Sardinia:

Sardinia is an island that inspires dreams! In addition to its hundreds of paradise beaches, it conceals many beautiful surprises! It is surprisingly big: it is almost twice the size of Corsica!

In the north of Sardinia, departing from Portisco, Olbia, or Cannigione, you can rent a boat to cruise around the Maddalena archipelago. This magnificent natural park consisting of 23 granite islands and islets dotted with unique beaches stretches from the uninhabited Island of Asinara in the west to the Golf of Orosei in the east.

In the far south of Sardinia, sail from Carloforte, the only inhabited village on the island of San Pietro. More discreet than the northern part of Sardinia, south Sardinia offers unique opportunities for an unusual cruise, by yacht, catamaran or trimaran, far from the tourist routes.
